I know what it feels like to start your massage career full of enthusiasm, only to realise that nobody shows you how to actually build a business.

After being made redundant, I needed to create something that would give me a reliable income. Before retraining, I worked in business and as a freelance features writer, but moving into a service-based business still came with a learning curve.

Through trial and error, I built a successful massage practice with a steady flow of clients and a business that fits around my life.

As that happened, other therapists began asking how I’d done it. I started helping informally, which later grew into creating courses and resources.

I also began writing for Massage Warehouse, sharing practical guidance to help therapists build sustainable businesses.

What I realised along the way is that information alone isn’t enough. Without ongoing support, it’s easy for momentum to fade.
